Filter Cleaning Instructions
Keep your OTR filters performing at their best with
these safe and effective cleaning steps:
Remove the dirty filters from your vehicle
Cleaning Methods
Using Compressed Air:
– Ensure the air pressure does not exceed 60 P.S.I.
– Blow air from the inside of the filter to the
outside until all dirt and dust are removed.
Using Water:
– Pre-soak the filter media with cool or warm water.
– Apply a mild soap or multi-purpose cleaner
i.e. (Simple Green) to the water.
– Rinse the filter from the clean side outwards until
the water runs completely clear.
Drying the Filter
– Allow the filter to dry completely around 48hrs.
– Avoid using heat or hot air.
– Placing the filter in the sun or in front of a fan can help speed up drying.
